Are you tired of scrolling through endless advice, only to find more fear than answers? Do you wish there was a space where your questions were met with calm, honest guidance—not overwhelm?

That’s why I created Every Birth.

As an independent midwife, my focus isn’t on ticking boxes or following a script. It’s about truly seeing you—your story, your hopes, your needs—and offering grounded, evidence-based support that meets you where you are. Whether you’re planning a VBAC, planning for a caesarean birth, hoping for a calm home birth, or just trying to figure out what feels right, you don’t have to do it alone.

Every Birth is a space for real conversations, tailored care, and support that actually listens. You deserve to feel confident and safe—however your journey unfolds.

The story behind Every Birth

My journey began at King’s College London, where I studied Midwifery—driven by a deep passion for empowering women and birthing people as they navigate the incredible, yet often daunting, experience of pregnancy and birth.

But my perspective changed completely when I faced my own high-risk pregnancy with my daughter, Rosemary. Suddenly, I wasn’t the midwife offering reassurance; I was the one searching for answers, feeling overwhelmed and vulnerable. Even with my medical background, I found myself lost in a sea of conflicting information and generic advice that didn’t reflect my reality.

It was a humbling experience—one that opened my eyes to just how many families are left without the tools, support, or understanding they truly need. I began to see the deeper flaws in the system: the absence of personalised, honest care, and the way so many voices—especially those that don’t fit the textbook—are overlooked or unheard.

Although this realisation wasn’t entirely new to me. My career had already taken me across the globe—working with women in rural communities in India, Mozambique, and Uganda, as well as across the UK. I’d seen how powerful the right support can be—and how devastating it is when that support is missing.

In my role as a research midwife, I worked on projects that shaped antenatal education materials for the NHS, providing guidance for parents and midwives across the country. Yet, I couldn’t ignore the critical gaps in the care and education families were receiving—gaps that left them feeling scared, confused, and unprepared or sometimes simply lied too!

That’s why I created Every Birth. It’s everything I wish I’d had during my own pregnancy. It’s about offering more than either just textbook knowledge or vague stories —it’s about sharing the kind of support that can transform how you feel about birth.

Not just another antenatal course or hypnobirthing package—Every Birth is a comprehensive, evidence-based program that prepares you for the realities of birth.

What makes Every Birth truly unique is that it’s written in collaboration with midwives, doctors, paramedics, and paediatric nurses. This ensures you’re receiving expert-backed information that covers every aspect of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

Every Birth combines clinical expertise with straightforward, empowering support, ensuring you feel heard and respected throughout Every Journey.

Birth today comes with its own challenges, but with the right preparation, you can face them with confidence. Every Birth gives you the tools to feel informed, empowered, and in control, no matter how your journey unfolds.
