Home Birth Continuity of Care Plan

The Home Birth Continuity of Care Plan package offers you the reassurance of continuity of care and the calm confidence of birthing in your own space—with experienced midwives by your side.

From your booking appointment through to those early weeks after birth, you’ll receive personalised, unhurried care that supports your choices and centres your experience. Antenatal appointments take place in your home or in my clinic, with time to explore your preferences, prepare for labour, and build a relationship with your midwife.

When your baby is ready to arrive, we’ll come to you—fully equipped to provide safe, supportive clinical care at home. Two birth attendants (your lead midwife and a second Zest-registered midwife or MAMA) will be with you throughout your labour and birth.

You’ll also receive up to 4 weeks of postnatal care, including infant feeding support and the newborn screening (blood spot test) on day 5.

If you’d like to talk more about planning a home birth with us, just get in touch.

Hospital Birth/Elective Caesarean Birth Continuity of Care Plan

Whether you’re giving birth on a labour ward, birth centre, or by planned caesarean, I can offer personalised care and continuity throughout your journey.

With regular antenatal appointments in your home, you’ll have time to build a relationship with your midwife, explore your preferences, and prepare for birth feeling calm and confident.

When it’s time to meet your baby, I’ll join you at the hospital as your professional birth partner—providing emotional support, physical comfort measures, and advocacy throughout your labour or caesarean birth. While I cannot provide clinical care in hospital settings, I will remain by your side to help you feel grounded, informed, and cared for.

Your postnatal care will continue at home, with up to 4 weeks of visits, feeding support, and newborn blood spot screening on day 5.

If you’re planning a hospital birth or caesarean and want consistent, personalised support, let’s talk.
