I can’t tell you how often I hear from women who feel worried about what to expect during birth.I can’t tell you how often I hear from women who feel worried about what to expect during birth.

You might be thinking, “I’ll just trust the doctors,” or “I’m high-risk, so I can’t have the birth I want.”

But here’s what I want you to know: No matter how your baby is born, your birth matters. You deserve to feel informed, confident, and in control. Birth isn’t just something that happens to you, it’s something you are an active part of.

I’m not here to replace your clinical team. What I am here to do is guide you with clear, evidence-based education so you feel prepared to ask questions, make decisions, and step into birth with strength and confidence.

When you understand what’s happening, when you feel supported and prepared, birth stops being something to fear. It becomes something you can move through with clarity and courage, knowing that you are at the centre of every decision.

Every Birth is here to walk with you in that journey, giving you the knowledge, tools, and support you need to make choices that feel right for you and your baby.

Birth doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. Let’s make sure it doesn’t. Let me show you how…

My journey into midwifery started back in 2015, driven by a deep passion for supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and those early weeks of parenting. Over the years, working in both clinical care and research showed me just how many families are left without the support, continuity, or information they need to feel confident and in control.

That became even clearer when I experienced it myself. During my high-risk pregnancy with my daughter, Rosemary, I found it incredibly hard to access care and guidance that truly reflected my circumstances. Even as a midwife, I felt overwhelmed and under-supported, and I knew something had to change.

That’s why I created Every Birth — to share education and support that is truly built around you. Whether you’re looking for an individual session to dive into your birth options, grounded guidance through a high-risk journey, or simply a safe space to ask questions and feel heard, I’m here.

If you want support that respects your choices and gives you the knowledge and confidence to step into birth prepared and empowered, welcome. You’re in the right place. Let’s do this together.
