How does it work?
SneakPeek uses cutting-edge non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) technology to analyse cell-free fetal DNA (cffDNA) circulating in your bloodstream. This DNA originates from the placenta and is completely safe to test from 6 weeks gestation.
A small blood sample is taken from your arm and sent to SneakPeek Labs in California. There, the lab separates the plasma and uses RT-qPCR (real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction) to search for Y chromosomes. If Y chromosomes are detected, you’re having a boy. If no Y chromosomes are found, you’re having a girl.
Clinical studies have shown 100% accuracy at 6 weeks in identifying fetal sex. The test correctly identified gender in 113 out of 113 pregnancies.
Twins? No problem.
For identical twins, the result applies to both babies
For fraternal twins, if male DNA is found, at least one twin is a boy, but the test cannot distinguish if the other is a boy or girl
When will I get my results?
Once your sample arrives at the lab, results are typically ready in 3–8 business days. Most parents receive their email result between 4–8pm (UK time) on the day the lab processes the sample. *Please note that postal delays can occasionally affect timings.
Is it safe and reliable?
Yes. SneakPeek is the only clinically validated early gender test on the market and is recommended by obstetricians. The procedure is non-invasive and poses no risk to you or your baby. Even conditions such as PCOS or medications like blood thinners do not affect test accuracy.
And yes, your privacy is protected. Your DNA is tested for gender only, securely handled, and disposed of after testing in accordance with industry standards.
If the result doesn't match your baby’s confirmed gender at birth, you’ll receive a full refund.
