Your Safety…
Your safety is always my priority.
As a Zest-registered midwife, I provide care that is grounded in both clinical knowledge and real-world experience. I work with a small team of highly skilled professionals who are well-equipped to support the full spectrum of birth experiences—whether things unfold smoothly, or whether extra support is needed along the way.
I carry emergency equipment and medications to every birth and complete regular training in obstetric and newborn emergency care. This ensures that, should any unexpected changes arise, we are prepared to act confidently and appropriately.
The care I provide is shaped by national clinical guidance, particularly from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), and I stay updated with current research to ensure that everything I offer is evidence-based, safe, and relevant.
I am registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), which means I uphold the standards set by our professional code of conduct. I’m also a member of the Royal College of Nursing, which supports my ongoing professional development and accountability.
Midwives in the UK are legally required to have full indemnity insurance. For birth care, this is arranged through Zest Midwives and provided by SKUL. If you’re receiving antenatal or postnatal care only, I am insured through the Royal College of Nursing.
Through Zest, I also have access to a wider network of senior midwifery support, including a consultant midwife, professional midwifery advocate, and clinical advisors. If complexities arise in your care and you would like additional support I can refer into NHS maternity services while ensuring I am providing continuity and collaboration across your care team.
